If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us at support@bridlewayz.co.uk.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our mobile app, our website, and related services (such as when you contact support). It does not apply to information collected by third-party websites or services that we do not control.

By using our app or website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. For our Terms and Conditions, please visit the Terms & Conditions.
Information we collect
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.
Location Data
Bridlewayz may access and collect location data from your device when you use our app. This includes:
- Precise location data (GPS coordinates) - Used to show your current position on the map and provide location-based features such as finding nearby bridleways and navigation
- Approximate location data (network-based location) - Used to provide general location-based services
We use location data to:
- Display your current location on the map
- Find and show nearby bridleways and routes
- Provide navigation and routing features
- Record routes so that you can save your own bridleways whilst out horse riding
- Improve our services and user experience
Location data is collected only when you grant permission. When you use features like Record a route, the app may access your location in the background (for example, while your device is locked or while you are using another app) so that your ride can be recorded.
Route recording, storage, and sharing: Recorded routes (which may include location points, timestamps, and related metadata) are stored on our servers so you can view them later across devices. You may choose to publish or share routes; if you publish a route, it may be visible to other users (and may include route information that could reveal where a ride started/ended).
Your choices and controls: You can control location access through your device settings at any time. You can delete recorded routes, and you can request deletion of your account (which will also remove associated routes), as described in our account deletion process.
Sharing with service providers: We do not sell your precise location data. We may share or process location/route data with service providers only as necessary to provide location-based features (for example, mapping providers used to render maps and routes).
Retention: We keep recorded routes until you delete them or delete your account.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
We display ads in the app using Google's AdMob service. AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as device identifiers (including the advertising ID), IP address, approximate location, and usage data to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve ad performance. For more information about how Google uses data, please review Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's advertising settings. On Android devices, you can opt out by going to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization. On iOS devices, you can limit ad tracking in Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
